Bored and updating.

Lizzzygizzzy, bless you for updating. I was about to send in the National Guard.

***************************************

I am home working on a transcript today, and so far I'm having trouble just keeping myself in my seat. In order to do just that, I have placed an order for $300 worth of clothes. I blame Cinzel for teaching me this particular boredom buster tactic. However, I will have a new coat and some snazzy new clothes to wear next term of court.

***************************************

It is c-c-c-c-cold here today. I don't know what the temperature is, but I think it's cold in the house. Hubby is laying around in a t-shirt and shorts, and I have on pants, t-shirt, long-sleeve shirt over that, fuzzy socks on my feet, and my hands and nose are cold. He does, however, have both puppies and one of the cats laying with him. I may have to install a fireplace in my office.

***************************************

Yesterday we had some cement work done in our backyard. In the rain. Really. When it started raining they covered it with thick sheets of vinyl and worked it under the vinyl. The vinyl is still there, though the sun is out today. Can't wait to see how this turns out. We had a sidewalk poured from our patio to our shed, plus added about an 18" extension to our patio on one side so we can push the BBQ grill back out of the way.

***************************************

I am most disappointed to say I am wheezing and sneezing and coughing just like this time last year. Last year's fun ended in a bout of bronchitis, which I had never had before. I wish to not have that again this year, as it was not fun. Anybody know what's blooming/growing/infecting that I'm allergic to and what drugs I should take? I'm avoiding the doctor, if at all possible. I know. Because they have scales there.

***************************************

Off to see if I can do another ten pages or so before I drool of boredom. My debit card and I need to avoid anymore shopping sites, though.

Over and out.

I'm a big believer in retail therapy! There's something about new clothes that is such a new beginning. There is another coldwater creek coupon code if you want it - let me know. Re the allergy thing - I have a HEPA filter and that seems to help a bit with the allergy thing - that and lots of water. I also read that if you have honey made from wildflowers in your area (or other native honey) it helps cut down on allergies.

I used to have horrible allergy symptoms every fall until I started using Flonase. I know, it's prescription only and you'd have to see a doctor to get it (sorry), but it's been a miracle drug for me. The best part about it, besides the fact that it WORKS, is that it doesn't make me drowsy like OTC sinus/alergy stuff does.

The ragweeds nearly killed me a couple of weeks ago. My hubby and son take OTC Claritin non drowsy formula. It works for them. I didn't take it and I was the one who got sick and ended up at the dr's office.
