Shrinking profits.

We just received a marketing report from our real estate agent in South Carolina, and the news is not rosy. Seems all the new construction in the area is killing our home's value...and she recommends dropping the selling price $10,000. Gawwwd. That is $10,000 directly out of our pocket, and it's hard for me to give that up willingly.

On the other hand, we are making two house notes now (still, four months later), and that is about to kill us. I know where the extra house note for April is coming from. After that? Well, I'm not sure. So we need to sell this house now.

According to the agent, all the new housing is even in a glut in the area right now, and builders are giving closing costs as part of their packages. Man, who can compete with that, a new house and closing costs paid? Well, I guess we'll have to, right out of our profit we were expecting to make.

Oh well, it's only money, right? :) I better get busy making more and more jewelry to sell next month!

Over and out.
